Lee Jong-hyup Special Exhibition: "To the Primordial Matter"

Water, which we use every day: from some point on, the material of water, which has enriched our beautiful memories and precious lives, flows through the time of a long history. The Lee Jong-hyup special exhibition at Gallery MetaCanvas has been extended and runs through the end of September. Lee Jong-hyup, an artist devoted to nature art, centers the exhibition on the work “To the Primordial Matter,” which links the seeping of water, the source of life, with the structural harmony of textile. The work was inspired by the poem “To the Primordial Matter” by the Mexican poet Luis de Sandoval Zapata, which appears in “H2O and the Waters of Forgetfulness” by Ivan Illich, the Austrian philosopher, Catholic priest and ecologist.
